Scotts MossEx, Moss Killer for Lawns

Scotts® MossEx™, a moss control product, is designed to eliminate unwanted moss without damaging your lawn. When you apply MossEx™, it targets the undesirable moss, causing it to turn black and disappear. Additionally, the product contains nutrients that help to green your lawn and promote the growth of thick, lush grass.

The optimal time to apply Scotts® MossEx™ is during the winter or spring months when moss is actively growing. For the best results, it's recommended to apply the product when the lawn is moist and the tall grass has been mowed to expose the low-growing moss.

To ensure even coverage, it's advisable to use a Scotts® spreader. For Scotts® rotary/broadcast spreaders, the recommended setting is 2 ¼ for the regular rate or 2 ¾ for the heavy rate. If using a Scotts® drop spreader, the settings should be 4 for the regular rate or 4 ½ for the heavy rate. For the Scotts® Wizz®, the settings are 3 ¼ for the regular rate and 3 ¾ for the heavy rate.

If additional treatments are needed, it's important to wait 2 to 4 weeks between applications. Please note that the grass blades may temporarily turn black, but this condition will disappear after mowing.
