This grass seed blend is designed for full sun and light shade, and has medium drought resistance with high durability. The redesigned Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Kentucky Bluegrass Mix features Root-Building Nutrition, a combination of ingredients that is expertly crafted to help establish deep roots, allowing you to build a stronger, greener lawn from the roots up.

The Root-Building Nutrition formula combines seed, fertilizer, and soil improver to help create a thick, lush lawn. This product can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing one, and is recommended for application in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 55°F and 70°F or air temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F.

For best results, it is advised to use a Scotts® spreader to apply this product, as per the spreader settings on the product label. Watering the area daily or as needed is essential to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
